Everybody loves B2K right? Bump, Bump, Bump, Girlfriend, Everything, Gots Ta Be…they were the perfect boy band, but after they broke up, members J Boog and Lil Fizz came together for a collaboration. The track ‘Bounce’ was featured on the soundtrack to one of the ‘Bring it on’ films, featuring Christina Milian.
Since their split, B2K members have had a differing time in the music industry. Omarion went on to be the most successful out of the band, while Lil Fizz accused his manager Chris Stokes of sexually assaulting him and his former band mates. Rappers like Nicki Minaj have referenced this in songs like , ‘Up in Flames’ where she says ‘I’mma violate your ass like Chris Stokes’ – a lyric I find pretty hard to stomach, to be honest. Whether he did it or not, rape is nothing to make light of, and for all anyone knows, it could have been true.
On a less serious note, I love this song, and it’s one of them where I wish they would have made more songs together.
