During the main event, Lewis was award the trophy for Sportsman Of The Year which comes just days after he claimed his seventh victory of the season at Monza by winning the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday.
Following the victory, Hamilton was all smiles on Monday after being invited to make a guest appearance at the Malaysia Pavilion at the Milan Expo.
The Stevenage born champion was greeted by Expo chief Giuseppe Sala, who was quick to congratulate him on his latest trophy, and also took part in a Q&A session with a group of students.
And Lewis clearly felt in the mood to celebrate his gong as he headed on to the after-party at celebrity hot spot The Chiltern Firehouse.
