While all ears were trained on Kerrianne Covell’s – as always – pitch perfect vocals at this weekend’s Stockton International Riverside Festival (SIRF), eyes were definitely drawn to her outfit.

Thanks to a collaboration with Guisborough-based specialist boutique, Rag and Doll, Kerrianne looked stunning in a purple two-piece, perfectly made-to-measure for the pint-sized singer by the girls at the shop.

RU Listening artist Kerrianne was sporting the boutique’s signature high-waisted cigarette pants and Natalie crop top, both in a gorgeous plush Italian fabric in a shade of purple.

Designer and business partner Philippa Hunter said of the outfit: “The Natalie crop was one of the first pieces we ever did, designed originally about two years ago.

“It was my business partner Natalie’s birthday and we wanted to make something for her birthday night out.

“Because it was for her, we named it the Natalie, and that’s been our theme ever since. Just about every piece we create is given a girl’s name – usually the person we created it for, or the first person to buy it.”

All of Rag and Doll’s creations are available off the rail in standard sizes 6-14, but can all be made to measure or altered to the perfect fit.

  • The high-waisted cigarette pants are available at £89, while the Natalie crop is a snip at just £39.Purple two-piece suit
